Compact, affordable, and easy-to-use, the RB-1602 Wireless 3-in-1 Pocket N+ Broadband Router from Sapido is a router, bridge, and access point all in one. For Internet access, the router has a WAN Ethernet port for establishing a wired connection to a cable modem, ADSL modem, or, as commonly found in hotels and offices, a LAN network jack. In addition, the router can also spread a wireless signal when wirelessly connected to WiFi modems or other wireless routers. Since this router is designed to 802.11n wireless specifications, you can connect a vast array of WiFi devices at a data transfer rate of up to 150 Mbps. It can also connect to wireless devices that are only compatible with 802.11b or 802.11g standards. Plus, with one built-in 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN port, you can also establish a wired connection to your computer.
Because the router is designed to be portable, it can be powered by a laptop while you're on the go or away from a power outlet. You'll need a Y type USB cable to connect up a laptop. Also, the router is built to 802.3az Ethernet standards and features a built-in Green AP technology. With these, the router can moderate its power consumption as it needs, which ends up wasting less energy. For security, you can either utilize the one-touch WPS encryption button or you can use the more advanced security options. This router is compatible with your Windows, Mac, or Linux computer.

Comments about Sapido RB-1602 Wireless 3-in-1 Pocket N+ Broadband Router:
The instructions are useless, written/repeated three times but it does not help at all. The translation ([*]) is horrible. The only easy setup was for it to be used as a WiFi access point connected to wired WAN. Setting it up as a client for another WiFi network - forget about it. Look for something different. It's small, cheap, and useless.

Comments about Sapido RB-1602 Wireless 3-in-1 Pocket N+ Broadband Router:
I needed a wireless client to conect my Ethernet camera to my home network from a place I didn't have an Ethernet cable and the RB-1602 does that job nicely. The camera and router have been sending pictures to my website for several weeks so far and it never misses a beat.
Don't be fooled by the tiny size, this is a versitile unit with many features. It can work as a repeater or a master connected to a cable modem as well as a wireless client. For the most part setup is simple but it helps to have some knowledge of routers to get is set up exactly as you desire.
I plan to get another to use as a client in my camper since it can see wireless stations near me that my laptop doesn't see.
