The Joby Gorillamobile for iPhone 4 is a case that comes with its own set of flexible, bendable legs that act like a tripod. The legs are made up of little joints that bend and rotate 360°. The durable, bumper-style case that houses your iPhone 4 quickly attaches to the legs via a rail design, which adjusts to both portrait and landscape orientations. The Gorillamobile case also includes a 1/4" tripod screw adapter in case you want to use the flexible legs with your digital camera.

I always use this tripod for my iphone and my Flipcam! For my iphone, constantly use it for Facetime w/ my family and friends w/o having to hold it. I am a Dj so i constantly use it to record my dj sets from different angles using my Flipcam. The univeral adapter makes it secure and easy to mount in seconds...The only reason why i havent given this 5 stars, is because the hard case for the phone doesnt allow me to plug in my 1/8 to rca cord from my car to my iPhone because i like to listen to music/talk on the iphone in my car...it seems to fit the regular headphone jack for the iphone/ipod. I did however find a special flat 1/8" to RCA cord from [@] that fits it...Overall its a great innovative tripod!

I recently bought the gorillamobile and it does the job. This dosent mean i'm super excited. You can only use this product with joby's rim attachment, which as a phone case is pretty poor. I only put cover on if i want to use the tripod, which i don't use because it means i have to cary two phone cases. If there were something better i would have bought that.

I wanted something to help me take videos of myself & the kids to share with far-away family. Works great, holds to almost anything, and folds down small enough to fit in a clutch purse! Brilliant product.

Product works great if you need to attach your iphone to something to record videos. Can be a bit difficult to set it up on certain objects, but still good deal for the price.

the actual bendable stand with the little round balls is lightweight, i'm not quite sure of it's durability but i think it's fine. the part that you have to wrap around the phone itself to attach to the legs-best to be very gentle getting it on and off, but once you figure it out it's ok. i wouldn't be terribly surprised if it broke one of these times. so if you don't already have a cover for your Iphone, maybe leave it on there. i got a an adapter/cable that plugs into a real microphone because i didn't want to use the internal, problem is the adapter is too big to fit in the hole with the joby protector on, so...i'm trying to figure that one out. looking for either a small extension or maybe the glif so i don't have to use the Joby protector. anyways, once you get everything in place with the Joby on the Iphone, it's quite fun. i imagine this would be an essential accessory at burning man, wrap this thing around your head like a spider or something. pretty cool tripod all around

Used thus on a tour of New Yory City. Very nice, grabs a hold of railings and flat surfaces for nice and steady shots. Great for evening photos when lighting is low, reduces blur due to slow shutter. A must for the traveler.

I bought this stand to (as you guessed it) stand my iPhone on a table, or on the dash of my car to shoot timelapse. It is made relatively well, but wish that it was a little easier to get the frame on the phone. Not that it's hard to put on, but not quick enough sometimes. Also, I am afraid that I may snap and break it...but that's not saying it's not made well...just afraid to break it while putting it on/off. On top of that I wish I could put the frame on another set of legs (like the salesperson said I could!). I only found out after I bought it that this is one piece and not removable. Still, it does exactly what I want it to do.
