Brother PT-2730 PC-Connectable "Simply Professional" Labeling System
Whether you're making labels for your business or your own personal use the Brother PT-2730 PC-Connectable "Simply Professional" Labeling System is up to the task. The PT-2730 can be connected to your Mac or PC, or used as a stand-alone device. Hooked up to a compatible computer, the labeler provides enhanced functionality, such as numerous bar code options. The PT-2730 also features a QWERTY keyboard, 180 dpi resolution, and a max print speed of 0.4" per second.
The Simply Professional labeler uses 'TZ' tapes, including standard laminated, flexible ID, extra strength adhesive, acid free, and non-laminated iron-on fabric. Tapes up to 0.9" tall, and 26.2' in length fit in the machine. Eight fonts, 10 styles, and 253 built-in symbols can be utilized for your label making. In addition, labels can have up to 7 lines, up to 5 blocks, and can be up to 11.8" in length.
The PT-2730 also comes with a Label Collection feature which boasts 55 different built-in designs. Another beneficial aspect of the labeler is the 99 label memory, which allows you to save and print your favorite labels. You can also make the most out of the printer with the download function, which allows for access to additional Label Collection files. Additional highlights of the labeler include an automatic cutter, the option for AC or battery power, and the included editing software and drivers.

Works great... Can even print logo's and bar codes. Haven't tested how long they last yet but so far so good.. Seems like they stick well. Only down side is that they are only 1" thick max..

Third P-Touch labeler, my last one lasted over 5 years in a shop where techs are NOT really careful how they use it. We can go thru 2 tape casettes a week and we've had no problems.
