The Actiontec Ethernet Over Coax MoCA Network Adapter (2 Pk) is a set of 2 adapters enabling existing coaxial wires in your home to be converted to an Ethernet network and deliver high speed Internet access to any connected device. Installation is quick and easy: Simply plug one MoCA adapter into your router and the other into a device requiring Internet access. A separate adapter is needed for each device. A total of 16 devices can be supported on one network. The MoCA adapter can coexist with the majority of broadband and cable TV services and passes US CATV or terrestrial signals to components like televisions with no degradation.
Ideal for condominiums, apartment buildings, homes, and other residential buildings, the MoCA adapter lets you add high-speed Internet access anywhere, without the hassle and high cost of complex infrastructure modifications. It provides simple, seamless integration, as well as virtually limitless possibilities for network expansion over existing wiring configurations. The adapter supports full Ethernet speed.

Comments about Actiontec Ethernet Over Coax MoCA Network Adapter (2 Pk):
Used to connect several TiVo boxes to my home network. I'm using a Verizon FIOS router that already had MoCA enabled. Connect the adapter with coax between the coax wall outlet and the coax input to the TiVo box and connect the (supplied) ethernet cable from the adapter to the ethernet input on the back of the TiVo box. Room-to-room HD video streaming between TiVos and internet access are now at ethernet speeds besting the wireless connectivity I used to have which in comparison was very slow and unreliable. Seriously, I just plugged it in and it worked beautifully.
