I installed two of these for a total of 8GB on my Mac Book Pro 13" after experience a lot of lag/load time when processing high resolution files within Photoshop. I hated the fact that I could not multi-task while using Photoshop because it would load things slow with only 4GB. When I am working in Photoshop I like to have internet radio playing, have my email client and instant messenger open, and several other programs that I need open.The solution was to double the RAM to 8GB. The install was very easy as I simply followed the instructions from the Apple site http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1270. As soon as I installed the memory I verified that my laptop was indeed registering 8MB and it indeed registered.Now with 8GB I can easily multi-task without any lag issues. This is the best investment I've made for my Mac so far.
