This works great. My only gripes are the price, I mean c'mon, and the length could be longer... but it's great.

Comments about Sescom LN2MIC-TASDR100 Line Out to Camera Mic Level In Cable:
The cable sets down the gain from a mic or mixer to a DSLR 3.5mm audio input. Finally the audio in the captured file is useful without having to use double system sounds files and resyncing in post.

Comments about Sescom LN2MIC-TASDR100 Line Out to Camera Mic Level In Cable:
I purchased this cable to reduce line level sources such as my mixing desk, CD player etc. for recording on my Tascam Dr-05 linear PCM recorder.(The Tascam DR-05 has a mic/line input that cannot handle line level sources.) It works very well for this. The 35db pad built in allows me to use the mic input of the the DR-05 for line level sources. It works flawlessly. It seems well built. My one complaint would be that the markings on the cable (in and Out) are printed on stiff tape 1/4 inch from the strain relief at each plug. This creates an area where there is undue stress on the cable. This could fail after repeated bending.

Comments about Sescom LN2MIC-TASDR100 Line Out to Camera Mic Level In Cable:
I use this to sync up the audio I record on my Tascam DR-100 with my Nikon D7000. It works great, I just wish the cable was thicker. I'm worried my audio cable extension is going to put too much strain on the wires inside of the cord. This is a necessity for portable audio recorders and DSLR's.

Comments about Sescom LN2MIC-TASDR100 Line Out to Camera Mic Level In Cable:
I connect the cable between my TASCAM DR-100 and my Canon DSLR to record high quality video synchronized with high quality sound.
Saves hours in post production.
The cable has two 3.5" jacks. One connects to the line output of the TASCAM and the other connects to the DSRL mic input. (there are tiny labels on that cable that say "camera" and "tascam").

Finally a simple solution for the dr100. This is basically a mic pad to keep the sound levels at the best possible impedance without having to use xlr size mic pads.
