These units are easy to install and the directions for doing so very straight forward. It takes about 2 minutes to replace the old full unit with a new empty one! Dispose of it carefully. One does not have to return the full unit but simply carefully dispose of it. Not much more that can be said. Advice: Get one BEFORE you need to replace it and you will not lose any printing time!
