The SpectroProofer 17" - UV from Epson is designed for the Stylus Pro 4900 and features a built-in UV filter. The spectrophotometer uses an X-Rite ILS20EP/EPUV spectrophotometer to calculate light intensity as a function of its wavelength. It only works with third-party RIPs and workflows and supports most leading third-party RIPs and workflows.
- Allows for automated color measurement directly within the printer itself
- Incorporates a high performance X-Rite ILS20 spectrophotometer for extreme measurement repeatability, max. 0.2 dE cmc
- Developed jointly with X-Rite
- Simple installation - fits cleanly into the front of the Epson Stylus Pro 4900
- Supports color measurements printed on either roll or cut-sheet media
- Both black and white interchangeable backing plates included
- Built-in print dryer to accelerate the dry-down and reading process
- When driven by the latest front-end RIP software, the SpectroProofer can automate virtually any color management process in your workflow
