The Mini Converter Sync Generator does exactly what its name suggests. Send a crystal-stabilized video sync reference through up to six BNC outputs, for referencing video equipment in either HD Tri-Sync or standard-def Black Burst television standards. The Blackmagic Mini Converter features a cable tie point that secures the power supply connection, thus preventing an accidental power disruption. The partnering of the Sync Generator device with the Switronix cable makes it ideal for unpredictable outside-broadcast environments in which there's not always access to a wall power outlet.
