At the heart of the
Datavideo Distance Learning Kit, bundled by
B&H, is a hand-carried Datavideo HS-2000 mobile studio, which is based on an SE-2000 mobile video and audio switcher. The SE-2000 accepts up to five HD video inputs by combining (1) or (2) DVI input computer sources and (4) or (3) HD-SDI video sources. The switcher's multi-display output feeds picture-in-picture preview, preview, program, and each video source display to the mobile studio's included 17" LED-backlit LCD display. The HS-2000 also includes a built-in audio mixer with four XLR inputs, a luminance key, and a wired intercom with four beltpacks, headsets, and camera-mounted tally lights.
For video output compatibility, the Distance Learning Kit also includes a Datavideo DAC-50 HD-SDI to Component/Composite Video Signal Converter to suit the YUV input requirements of many video recorders or display devices. Finally, the kit ships with a Datavideo AD-100 audio delay box, which allows you to adjust a dial to keep your audio in sync with the video. It inputs and outputs audio via both RCA and XLR.
