Avid Vocal Studio
The Avid Vocal Studio comprises a USB microphone and Pro Tools SE software that combined can turn a computer into an easy-to-use recording studio. Simply connect the studio-quality microphone to a USB port on the computer, open the software, and record stunning vocals for use in songs, soundtracks, podcasts, or voice-overs. Then use Pro Tools SE to polish the performance, add effects, and more.
The M-Audio Producer USB microphone does not require an additional interface and features a large diaphragm that aids in capturing the subtle nuances of male and female vocal performances. The microphone can also be used to record instruments and other audio sources. Included software drivers allow for monitoring a performance in real-time, without the delays that often plague other computer-based recording system.
Pro Tools SE includes a 3GB loop library. Additionally, one can choose from over 100 different instrument sounds and then add effects that include reverb, delay, EQ, compression, chorus, flanger, and many others, polish the tracks, and share them with anyone. The Pro Tools software contains a wide array of music creation templates for creating hip-hop, electronic, pop, funk, jazz, and rock and blues tracks.

The product looks very professional and has everything I need. It includes both hardware and software ready to be used. Installation is really easy and takes only 15 minutes. The mic produces an exceptionally clean sound. I can't ask for more. The Pro Tools software is also simple and easy to use. I had the system hooked up, installed the included Pro Tools and got the system working just under 30 minutes, despite the fact that I had never used Pro Tools before.
The whole studio for this price is a steal. I would recommend this product to anyone - especially the beginners.

I was really excited about this product when I first used it. Quickly got frustrated when it crashed my XP after the second use. This was a gift for a family member so I sent it off. Then I realized that the program is useless without the Mic pluged in. I have the old Vegas Studio Movie Maker and Acid Music that proform just as well without the Hardware hang-ups and sudden crashing.

The Avid Vocal studio was my first professional microphone and my first good editing program. I make videos on Youtube once a week. Depending on how intense the editing is, it might take two or three hours, or maybe days. To get that desired look you have to make cuts in sound, so this has helped me a lot in post production. It fills in every gap and is great with soundtracks.
It is definatly a great microphone and has a great editing software at a low price.
