The Delkin Snug-It Pro Skin (Black) provides complete protection for a Canon EOS 5D Mark II digital SLR camera. The heavy-duty skin is custom molded for a glove-like fit. The thick skin provides added protection and, ridges molded into the skin allow for a better grip. All controls are molded over and around to maintain all functions. The skin is perfectly molded around the lens mount to provide the maximum amount of coverage while still allowing for quick lens changes. It is made from powder-infused silicone that provides a smooth rather than tacky feel and won't collect lint or debris. There is a hard plastic cover that protects the LCD against damage.

I live near the beach in So. Cal. I wanted protection for my 5D MII and 1D MIV. Got an email from B&H showing the Pro Skin by Delkin.
I gave it a try.
What a wonderful surprise. The Pro Skin fits like a glove. It fells right and looks great. The price is also very reasonable.
Another advantage is the Pro Skin hides the ID of your expensive camera. It also makes the camera hard to see. It has the same look as a stealth B2 bomber.
I can hardly wait until Delkin comes out with a version for the 1D MIV.

I got compliments on the smooth skin cover on my Canon 5D MII, but I find the skin too slippery for regular use and the open bottom bulges front and back with a quick release plate attached.
The design needs refinement, but I give it 3 stars because the controls do work through the skin as designed, and it does protect the camera body from knocks, bumps and excessive exposure to sea air and other corrosive elements. It's not rain or waterproof.
However, the skin also traps heat and that is very very bad for my sensor and the consistency of my images over time, especially shooting frequently in tropical locations.
Maybe it would be an excellent part of a winter kit to help the body and batts stay warm and snow-free.
Canon lenses are hard to attach as the rubber encroaches on the port diameter, but my Nikons with canon mount go on easily.
Connections and card slot can be accessed easily, but like the sensor, the card seems hotter than normal after shooting a while.
Maybe this slick baby will just be used when we expect bumps and bangs and winter or corrosive environments.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin for Canon EOS 5D Mark II D-SLR Camera:
I am happy that I made decision to buy Snug-It Pro Skin for my Canon 5D MarkII. It fits perfect and takes a couple of minutes to "dress" the body of the camera. It fits precisely, hugging all the elements and control buttons. I was impressed how smart this idea is — it became so much easier to protect camera on rough terrain in the mountains and desert where I tend to photograph often.
Also as a photographer traveling internationally, there is one more unintended benefit. The Snug-It skin covers all the shiny Canon emblems of a fancy equipment, inadvertently making it less attractive to others' eyes. Subtle inference here, but the effect is sensible: there is less curiosity somehow.
Overall I see this product as important value and would recommend it for protection and peace of mind.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin for Canon EOS 5D Mark II D-SLR Camera:
This product adds another layer of protection for my investment in my camera.
It works great for the purpose it was designed.
It won't protect the camera from everything but does help protect it from everyday bumps and handling.
It does add too much weight to my camera which matters when you carry it all day long.
So far I have no problems with it.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin for Canon EOS 5D Mark II D-SLR Camera:
Snug-It Pro Skin is a good protective cover and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the lense is a little difficult to get on with the cover. I think I will find the sweet spot after a few times. It fits really well and you still have access to all the button and you can see what they are.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin for Canon EOS 5D Mark II D-SLR Camera:
Fits very well, adds protection, and buttons are accessible. The main fault is the plastic cover for the viewer, which is not so good if that matters to you -- I just discarded it. Perfect for the photographer who keeps the camera in hand and around the neck on desert trails for hours at a time and wishes to minimize small bumps to the body and keep it clean. So far it has lasted well...

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin for Canon EOS 5D Mark II D-SLR Camera:
The skin fits exactly and precisely over the Canon 5D Mk 11 body as specified.
There is a space at the bottom to accommodate a battery pack.
Nice feel. -You feel you could put the camera down on the ground or on some greasy restaurant table, without contaminating the body.
The enclosed peel-off plastic screen protector is impossible to install without creating a bubble under the plastic. -Get the dedicated Canon LCD screen protector. It is more robust and installs easily

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin for Canon EOS 5D Mark II D-SLR Camera:
Don't really like this skin, it's too slick in so much it wants to slip out of my hand. It needs to be made out of non slipery material. It protects the camera well but not good for griping the camera.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin for Canon EOS 5D Mark II D-SLR Camera:
it is a perfect fit for the body, i am much more comfortable puting my camera on hard surfaces, there are two issues i have faced, one with my grip, which is kind a leave a gap between the camera and the grip because of the silicon part between (if you pull it out between then it stays loose which is not comfortable) and the other issue is fitting my 24-105 canon L series lens, it is easy with the sigma 50mm 1.4 but it takes some time for the 24-105. these are my two discomforts but i am still keeping my snug-it pro on my body, would buy it again

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin for Canon EOS 5D Mark II D-SLR Camera:
I got this for both my new 5D II and 7D. It fits just like it says; nice and tight and forms to all of the contours, dials and buttons. It's light weight and doesn't get in the way of camera operation. It's not something you want to be taking off and on all the time, the camera strap has to be taken off when you put it on and when you remove it. It feels a little slick at first, but you get used to the different feel rather quickly. The camera is well protected and is a small expense to pay for a good protective skin over the camera body.

I live by the beach in SoCal. I have been looking for a protective cover for my DLSR body.B&H sent an email showing the Delkin Snug-it. I bought it and what a sweet surprise. The Snug-It fits well and feels great. It also hides the idenity of your expensive DSLR. It has the look of a B2 Stealth bomber and is hard to see because of its blank matte fininsh.I am using the Snug-It Pro on my 5D MII. I can hardly wait for Delkin to come out with a model that fits a 1D MIV.
