This Box of Fuji 11 x 14" Crystal Archive Type II Paper produces amazing colors - subtle shades of green, striking blues and vibrant reds. Your highlights will show more detail as well as being very white.
This paper exhibits improved coupler technology over the Type One version of the same paper. Improved layer design also makes this paper preferable to use when it comes to faster processing in digital minilabs using Fuji's Frontier 570 machine. This translates into enhanced productivity and increased profits.
Crystal Archive is an excellent paper to use when long-term image storage and stability is desired. It is fade resistant In addition, this paper handles extremely well and will tolerate occasional variances in image processing better than other papers. When your work is stored below 50°F and with a relative humidity of 30-50%, you can expect a storage life of more than 20 years.

This paper is much closer in contrast to the discontinued low contrast paper Fujicolor Type P than it is to the medium contrast Fujicolor Type P. It is difficult to make good looking optical prints from normal or low contrast negatives on Fujicolor Type II in the darkroom where I work. The color saturation is fine but the contrast is low. I much preferred Fuji C for general purpose printing, after all it is easy to reduce contrast on a print by flashing the negative through a diffuser for 5-30 percent of the exposure time, but there is no easy way to increase contrast in optical printing. I also find it harder to work with large 16x20" pr 20x24" sheets of Type II, because the paper is much more flexible than Fuji C. Fuji also has cheapened the packaging of their color paper, putting it in much more flimsy boxes and bagging it without a cardboard stiffener. All this is distinctly disenchanting. I may have to order rolls of Kodak Ultra Endura and cut it by hand, if I am to get the results I want from optical printing.

Use it for color projection printing of 35mm and 120 roll film. very consistent as long as you remember to close the box! Opps! Wish it had a thicker base, kinks and creases very easy. A little bit easier to handle than 16x20 but still have to be careful when manipulating it.

Comments about Fujifilm Crystal Archive Type II Paper (11 x 14", Matte, 100 Sheets):
I used this matte paper for a color project in one of my classes. It's the first matte paper I've ever used, seeing as we're typically required to print glossy, especially in black and white. I really love the texture and finish and the way the paper represents the brilliance of the color. :)

I really love the quality of Fujifilm paper, matte especially looks very nice and textured. It's easy to work with and I've had great results. B&H was able to ship the package in great time, as well.

Great quality in printing, I like the contrast but not as much as the old Type C paper, which also felt more sturdy as for a paper consistency goes.

Colors are excellent. The sheets are thiner then the old one yet I could not find anything wrong about it !
