Conceived by world-renowned designer, Neil Poulton, the LaCie Bobourg USB Speakers are a stylish smart pair, perfect for your computer. Hidden underneath one of the speakers is a built-in USB cable that connects to your computer. With this tidy setup, your computer both powers the speakers and carries digital audio to them. The USB connection ensures that your audio is digital so that you don't experience the same loss or distortion of signal that can happen with analog audio. Since the speakers are plug-and-play, you can start using them as soon as they're connected. No installation software needed. In delivering your sound, each speaker utilizes a high-excursion, neodymium 2" driver, and for managing that sound, these speakers feature two volume touch buttons. If you're looking for a minimal-chic set of computer speakers, Neal Poulton and LaCie just might have you covered.

Comments about LaCie Bobourg USB Speakers:
The Lacie Bobourg USB Speakers are a great accessory for any laptop or netbook especially, as they offer a far more superior sound than most on board speakers.
For the price you pay on the B&H website, they are perfect to fill a small room with a decent sound quality. The plug and play USB is another pro.
However, they do lack slightly in the heavy, deep bass department.
