I use a small Sony HDV cam and a 5D-MkII on the slider. Using it for small reveals in real estate marketing videos, I need to be able to set up and level, get the shot, and move on quickly. For that, it simply does the job.The track itself is solid. The carriage is large enough for any decent fluid head, and the the movement is creamy. With such impressive performance, I was baffled by the lack of a carriage brake. What's that? It has one? Ah, yes... A simple bolt with a knob effectively locks the carriage, but it wasn't there. [...]I have a large dovetail QR plate mounted on the bottom. Since the track has two paired mounting holes in each of three locations, I was able to attach the plate with two bolts. No twisting worries.Attached to a heavy ball head with a panning clamp, I can level the track in seconds. (RRS BH-55 with a PCL-1 clamp)

All in the price.
Rough construction.
Limited use. Heavy but useful for sliding effects and still very handy for low budget.

I like this product a lot. I got it in the mail and my wife said, "Hun, stop playing with that thing, come eat, its dinner time, your food is getting really cold". I played with it for three hours none stop. I enjoyed it a lot. I am making videos in the weddings, thanks to this product. B and H your awesome:))))

Using this with an HVX200 and a 7D. For the price, it's a great little glider. It's lightweight, and easy to travel with. Like I said, for the price it's a pretty good product.

For the price not bad. It's not the smoothest ever at all times. You do need to babysit your shot pretty well when using it. Pay attention and really focus on your push or dolly move. Other sliders (say with cranks) it's a lot easier to get your shot. But for the price what do you expect.
For projects where you have time to do multiple takes to get it right this is perfect. If you're planning on using this in an interview critical situation, or live event situation, not your best tool.
I love it though. Small enough to travel with, gets the shot well.

So far, I really like this model. It's easy to setup and tear down, with the addition of a quick release plate on the bottom. I can snap it on/off the tripod in a second. The glide is very smooth, and I've found that it glides smoother with a heavier pan head attached. Sometime I even use my full Redrock Micro rig attached.

Does the job, but as well as other concurence's slider.
Noisy, heavy, very limited use.
But, does the small slider job.
Low budget slider.

Very well built, easy to set up. Having the ability to lock the slide is a MUST and this one works well. I attached a manfrotto 501hdv on top and was able to get some great pan/slide shots. This is a great product for the price.

Great dolly solution for the money. Used with my HVX200, 5D Mark II, both on the ground and mounted on a tripod with great results. Smooth imagery is a direct result of operator being aware of a constant movement with no sudden jerks keeping a consistent speed. I use when I want small moving dolly shots and don't have time or resources to set up my full dolly and track system.
