Comments about Sony MHS-FS2 Bloggie Duo Camcorder (White):
I shared the previous reviewers dismay about the tripod mounting. I guess Sony never expected someone to put the camera on a mount. But have come up with a work around. Using the MA2 Mic Clip Adaptor by Zoom you can place the camera in a microphone clip on strand mic stand. This allows to get back to the horizontal view. In addition a mic stand takes up a lot less space than a tripod.

Comments about Sony MHS-FS2 Bloggie Duo Camcorder (White):
Good:
The MHS-FS2 pocket camcorder is small & pretty. The white plastic is stain resistant material & looks & feels solid in hands.
Bad:
The front & rear LCD feature was the reason I chose it, because I have to record my own video occasionally. The problem is when you mount this camcorder on a tripod, it only records on middle part of the screen. You have to hold it horizontally, in order to take full HD (wide) view. But, it is not designed to be held horizontally, at least not with one hand - there is no tripod mounting hole on either side. It was designed to be held upright - thus record only middle part of the screen. Both front & back LCD displays are low resolution, poor quality; don't expect smartphone quality high resolution displays. I'm surprised that Sony still makes those poor quality LCD displays. I don't know what the Sony design team was thinking (or drinking) when they designed it that way & picked those low quality LCD displays. I had to return it back to B&H - going through all the trouble of returning.
