The Sony HDR-CX130 Camcorder puts full 1920 x 1080p high def recording in the palm of your hand, along with numerous other features and functions. Everything you record will store right to handy SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards or to Sony's proprietary Memory Stick media.
The CX130 uses various tools to capture brilliant HD video, even in low-light. The Sony Wide Angle G lens, along with 42x Extended zoom, are just two of the factors contributing to this future-friendly and detailed footage. The 'Exmor R' CMOS sensor, otherwise known as the heart of the camcorder, drives the filming and makes it possible to gather all 1920 x 1080 pixels. And the camera's 3.0" touch screen LCD gives you a generous platform on which to compose and review your shots. It also rotates up to 270°, allowing for shooting from difficult angles and the best angle for reviewing footage.
Of course, a plethora of other features help capture your memories as well. Shooting controls like Intelligent Auto take the guesswork out of recording by automatically setting the camera to the right combination of scene modes. Features like Tracking Focus allow you to set the camera to focus on a selected subject, while the Golf Shot mode captures a few seconds of motion in up to 22 still images, allowing for a detailed breakdown of the event.
When you're done shooting and ready to share, the CX130 comes with editing software. The included software helps you to tweak your movies, such as adding titles or trimming scenes, and share them on social networking sites easily, among other things.

Comments about Sony HDR-CX130 Camcorder (Blue):
Bought this camcorder for an upcoming vacation. There are so many features of this camera that I really love but I will name only a few. The picture image is really clear for such a small relatively inexpensive camcorder. I also like the fact that you can create a photo of any part of your video. This allows you to capture that perfect smile. Still working through the Image Stabilization feature. Low Light is very good but there has to be a small amount of light to shoot video. Works in both HD and SD modes. All in all a great camcorder.
