The VLP 2500 power amplifier from American Audio provides professional-quality audio and features in a compact rackmount design. The amplifier can operate in stereo, parallel mono, or bridged mono modes for excellent versatility. It offers XLR and 1/4" inputs, as well as Speakon and Binding Post outputs, allowing you to connect to a variety of sound systems and devices.
The amplifier has individual level controls on the front panel, plus a selectable input sensitivity. It offers a switchable limiter and high and low pass filters. A ground-lift switch helps to eliminate hum caused by ground loops. Front-panel LED indicators let you monitor the amplifier's status at a glance. In order to maintain reliable operation, the amplifier has a pair of high-speed cooling fans, plus protection circuitry that prevents damage from short circuits and overheating.
