The headphone cable is reinforced with DuPont Kevlar for terrific durability and flexibility, even in extreme weather. A detachable extension is included for extra slack, and a clothing clip helps to minimize tangles. The cable has an integrated microphone and 3-button remote that allows you to make phone calls, take voice notes, adjust volume, and control music playback on Apple devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod, as well as other compatible smartphones and MP3 players. The standard 3.5mm plug provides compatibility with a wide variety of devices, including the adidas miCoach and all other CD players and MP3 players.

The headphones stay in my ears in the most intense workouts i can throw at them and so far seem immune to sweat which was the reason to by them
The sound is superior to the standard apple ear buds BUT not by much

I spent some time trying the different sizes of ear adapters until I found one that fit well. They stay in while on the treadmill and sound much better than the cheap earbuds that they replaced. Definitely recommend these.

The sound quality I would say is a 4 out 5. They have a good clean flat response, not very heavy on bass but there's enough there. Very clean and crisp in the high end and mid-range and fairly loud. They're pretty comfortable and excellent to wear when you're exercising because they really don't move around and they fit inside your ear but they don't plug your ear canal. They also fit easily in a pocket unlike clip on head phones. The mic/volume control is very convenient and includes the double click to skip to next song. These are very sturdy and well made and seem like they'll hold up well over time. Also a nice feature is they come with extra ear-pads though the rubber ones that come on it seem like they'll last a long time and won't fall off. They're a little more expensive than other headphones but the quality is well worth it.
