The Atlona AT-HDS250SR HDMI with RS232/Stereo Audio Extender, with twisted pair transmitter and receiver modules for HDMI/Stereo Audio/RS-232 data signals, supports resolution of up to 1920 x 1200. It offers an extension distance of up to 825’ (251.4m), and meets HDCP (high-bandwidth digital content protection) compliant standards.
Built-in EDID (extended display identification data) allows for storing of display data (type of audio and video formats the display is capable of showing) on the receiver unit. The AT-HDS250SR Extender transmitter unit converts HDMI/Stereo Audio/RS-232 data signals to twisted pair signal (Cat5/6/7), while the receiver unit converts it back. The unit also features bi-directional RS232.
The AT-HDS250SR Extender supports HDTV resolutions such as 480i/p 60, 576p 50, 720P 50/60, 1080i 50/60Hz, and 1080p 50/60Hz, and computer resolutions such as 640 x 480, 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024, 1600 x 1200, and 1920 x 1200. In addition, the extender transmitter/receiver can be used in high interference environments. Designed for use on Cat5/6/7 cables, the AT-HDS250SR extender can be wall mounted.
