The Altona 24x1 Professional VGA Switcher is an advanced commercial switcher that offers 24 video inputs and 1 output along with software-driven RS-232 control. It is capable of video resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 without signal degradation, and its loop connection allows cascading up to 384 units. The switcher's 2RU size makes it a perfect fit for standard 19" racks in broadcast rooms, command centers, and educational and governmental environments.
- Power-Fail Protection allows switcher to restore previous settings
- LCD display shows all programmed commands and switcher responses
- Preset ability allows user to save specific tasks under one of the 10 presets, then call it up using a shortcut
- RS-232 communication control input allows control of switcher via included advanced control software or third party control system
- IR remote control
- Loop Connection allows user to cascade up to 384 units (for example: 32x1, 48x1, 64x1, etc.)
- Compatible formats: RGB, YPrPb or RGBHV
- Lock Safe allows user to lock unit from being accidentally switched to incorrect mode
- Undo Function allows user to undo an incorrect operation and return to the previous setting
