The Altona 16x8 Professional VGA with Audio Matrix Switcher is an advanced commercial switcher that offers 16 video inputs and 8 outputs along with software-driven RS-232 control. It is capable of video resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 without signal degradation and can mix and match video and audio channels as needed. The unit's 3RU size makes it a perfect fit for standard 19" racks in broadcast rooms, command centers, and educational and governmental applications.
- Power-Fail Protection allows switcher to restore previous settings
- LCD display shows all programmed commands and switcher responses
- Preset ability allows user to save specific tasks under one of the 10 presets, then call it up using a shortcut
- RS-232 communication control input allows control of switcher via included advanced control software or third party control system
- IR remote control
- Audio and video can have separate matrix modes (for example: Video In #1 --> Video Out #2, while Audio In #1 --> Audio Out #3)
- Compatible formats: RGB, YPrPb or RGBHV
- Lock Safe allows user to lock unit from being accidentally switched to incorrect mode
- Undo Function allows user to undo an incorrect operation and return to the previous setting
