Toshiba IK-WB30A IP Network Video Camera

The Toshiba IK-WB30A IP Network Video Camera, with 1/3.2” (2 MP) CMOS image sensor, delivers clear images in MJPEG and MPEG-4 formats at a resolution up to 1600 x 1200. With a minimum illumination of 0.01 lux at f/1.4, it captures clear images even in low light conditions. The true day/night camera also uses an IR cut filter to switch between color and B&W as per the changes in ambient lighting.

With the ePTZ operation, you can move the focus to the viewing area for a close-up view for easy identification of remote objects without moving the camera physically. Power is supplied to the camera through PoE; hence the IK-WB30A camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.

Auto white balance adjusts the red and blue signals in the MWB mode by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors. While automatic gain control adjusts the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level, the backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light.

The 2-way audio with built-in microphone enables you to communicate with visitors or potential intruders from the operator’s base station. The IK-WB30A IP Camera supports a tamper detection feature, which triggers an alarm when the camera is being tampered with e.g. if it is redirected, blocked, defocused, or spray-painted.

On-board slot is provided for SD card; apart from being convenient for short-term/temporary storage, recording onto SD/SDHC cards also rules out data loss due to network disconnection. The motion detection feature triggers an alarm when motion is detected in a designated portion of the video display.
