The Atlona HD Video Scaler (8x2) is a 19” 1RU size, multi-video matrix switcher with 8 inputs and HDMI and VGA output ports. With both outputs connected to the matrix, the scaler allows transfer of audio and video signals from any of the 8 inputs across multiple displays and LED readout, and control via front panel buttons. Scaling both output signals, it offers output resolution of 480i/p, 720p, or 1080p at the HDMI port, and supports display resolutions from SVGA (800x600) to WUXGA (1920x1200) for the VGA port.
The automatic signal sensing switcher selects the source for display on the output device, and audio signals are transferred to the HDMI output. The HD Video Scaler features an on-screen display, and uses RS-232 and RS-485 signaling for third party control systems, and facilitates audio volume adjustment for each input. It also has 1 front IR and 2 rear IR extensions for distances up to 1000’ (304.8m).
