The Atlona KIT-PROHD3 Custom Installation Testing Kit with Pelican Case allows you to identify digital connectivity issues in AV (audio-video) systems. It includes an AT-HD800 HDMI Signal Generator, AT-DIS7-PROHD 7” HDMI/VGA/Component Monitor, AT-HDSync HDMI EDID Emulator, 5 hour Battery for the monitor, and a Pelican case.
The AT-HD800 Portable HDMI Signal Generator enables you to test video resolution/timing of video signals in any digital format. It comes with 13 test patterns including 3D tests, Side by side, Top and Bottom, and Frame packing (a mandatory format for all HDMI 1.4 devices).
Featuring an HDMI output and HDMI pass through, the AT-HD800 generator allows switching between test patterns and content from other digital sources. In addition, the HDMI input reads EDID (extended display identification data) information to determine the display’s capabilities (type of audio and video formats the display is capable of showing). This minimizes the installation problems, and also assists in the EDID troubleshooting.
The AT-HD800 HDMI Signal Generator supports computer testing resolutions such as VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA, WUXGA, and HDTV testing resolutions such as 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p (50/60Hz), 1080i (50/60Hz), and 1080p (24/50/60). Additionally, it supports 3D HDTV testing resolutions such as 720p (50/60Hz) and 1080p 24Hz. With 2-channel LPCM (linear pulse-code modulation) for audio testing, the HDMI signal generator offers encoding of audio signals digitally. In addition to a portable design, it also has a protective rubber case, and can be operated via a battery.
The AT-DIS7-PROHD 7” HDMI/VGA/Component Monitor detects any HDMI/DVI/VGA or Component video source and supports resolution of up to 1920x1200. The HDMI/VGA/Component Monitor offers brightness of 400 cd/m2 and display contrast of 500 nits. It allows installers and integrators to view audio/video in real time. It facilitates testing of 3D signals and gives indication of receiving the 3D content. Featuring tripod inputs, the monitor can be rack mounted and meets HDCP (high-bandwidth digital content protection) compliant standards.
With built-in speakers and manual panel control button, the component monitor can be used for applications such as residential/commercial installations, cable/source manufacturers, monitoring, and broadcasting applications.
The AT-HDSync HDMI EDID Emulator allows duplication of the (Extended Display Identification Data) information. Using non-volatile memory for storing and recalling the default EDID settings, the emulator offers support for HDCP (high-bandwidth digital content protection) handshaking. Additionally, the AT-HDSync emulator allows you to read, store/modify EDID of the HDMI display, and upload the modified EDID to displays.
With facility for the HDMI source to boot directly from the AT-HDSync, the HDMI emulator prevents loss of EDID information in complex environments. In addition, the AT-HDSync Emulator features a RS232 control for direct EDID programming and meets DVI (Digital Visual Interface) compliant standards.
