The Vello TTL-Off-Camera Flash Cord provides creative photographers with the ability to remotely fire off-camera Canon Speedlites. Removing the flash from the camera's hot shoe allows the photographer to create unique and dramatic lighting styles that are not possible with a traditional shoe-mounted strobe.
One side of the TTL cable fits directly into the camera's hot shoe to ensure that all of the camera's exposure data is maintained. The other side can be attached to any stand, tripod, or device with a standard 1/4"-20 threaded stud or flash shoe mount.
This coiled cord measures 6.5' (2 m), which accommodates shooting with the flash mounted on a lightstand and with an umbrella, while staying in close proximity.
Other available lengths are:
| Cord Length |
6.5' (2 m) extended 22" (55 cm) relaxed |

Comments about Vello TTL-Off-Camera Flash Cord for Canon EOS - 6.5' (2 m):
My first order from B&H. Everything went smoothly and the product is exactly what all the reviews promised. All the functionality at a fraction of the "Canon" brand alternative. Construction "looks" and "feels" very solid. I would recommend anyone looking for a off-camera flash cord seriously consider this option.

Comments about Vello TTL-Off-Camera Flash Cord for Canon EOS - 6.5' (2 m):
I purchased this cord to use with my Canon Speedlite 580 EX II. Other reviews for the Canon 3' cord were poor and I wanted a longer cord so I could have more flexibility for moving the flash further from the camera. The quality of the cord is very good for the money, and it even has a tripod attachment on the flash end. It also fits onto the small stand that comes with the flash. The hot shoe attachment has a lock similar to the flash, making the connection very secure. All the functions work using this cord.

Comments about Vello TTL-Off-Camera Flash Cord for Canon EOS - 6.5' (2 m):
I've been using this cord to get my flash off camera without using a transmitter to trigger my 430exii. I've been very happy with the reach of the cord and its construction. I haven't seen any problems with its durability or loss of communication between the flash and camera. Overall it meets my expectations from the product description.

Comments about Vello TTL-Off-Camera Flash Cord for Canon EOS - 6.5' (2 m):
Excellent build quality and have yet to have a single issue with the cord. Just as good as the Canon brand (all though they don't make a 6.5' cord). Great coil memory in the thick cord. No problems with the contacts on either end. No issues with ETTL.

Comments about Vello TTL-Off-Camera Flash Cord for Canon EOS - 6.5' (2 m):
I use this cord with my Canon 500EX speedlite mounted on a stand. It's a very inexpensive way to extend my flash coverage even further from my camera body.
I do have to be careful about how I pull the cord when it is attached to avoid tipping over the stand.

Comments about Vello TTL-Off-Camera Flash Cord for Canon EOS - 6.5' (2 m):
I am so happy that I researched and found this cord. Reviews of other off-camera cords weren't very positive, and the Canon brand was not only expensive, but seemed just way too short to be of much use. This cord is a great length for what I will be using it for, and the construction feels strong and secure. The lock on the camera/hot shoe end is an added bonus, and the flash end locks on with the flash lock. It was a little tight getting onto the flash, but once on feels very secure. Has so far worked flawlessly, stretches well, and was just the right size at the right price.
