Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-TX10 Digital Camera (Green) goes where you go--to the beach, swimming, skiing, biking--with never a worry, because the TX10 is dustproof, waterproof (to 16'/4.87 m)), freezeproof (to 14°F/-10°C) and shockproof from falls as high as 5'/1.5 m. Not only is it tough as nails, the TX10 also takes gorgeous 16.2MP high-resolution photos and full 1920 x 1080 HD video, with its wide-angle 4x 25-100mm (equivalent) zoom lens. The CMOS sensor gives you high speed, high resolution and amazing low-light sensitivity with superb clarity and greatly reduced grain.
The bright 3" LCD monitor (with 921K-dot resolution) makes it easy to compose your shots and check them during playback. Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and sensitivity up to 3200 ISO eliminate blurry pictures due to low light conditions. The Superior Auto mode recognizes 33 scenes for photographs and 44 scenes for movies, and supplies the optimal settings for each one of them. You can even shoot 10 full-resolution images in 1 second with high-speed shooting technology.
There are plenty of creative effects available too: 3D and 3D Sweep Panorama, Background Defocus (perfect for portraits with a professional look), and many more. For flattering pictures of friends and family, Soft Skin, Smile Shutter, and Anti-Blink modes give you the best pictures time after time. Superior Auto mode automatically and intelligently recognizes 36 different scenes and instantly supplies the best settings for each one.

Comments about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX10 Digital Camera (Green):
its a very functional product: light, good size, easy to use, take fairly nice pictures.
i used to have the previus version wich i think had a better casing. the one of this version is a bit more "cheap looking" but the software is better.
if you take a lot of pictures i recomend to buy and extra battery to have with you.
i havent used this one underwater yet but the previous one i had worked fine.

Comments about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX10 Digital Camera (Green):
I use this camera mostly for documenting backpacking trips. When I carry everything I need for a week on my back I am very mindful of equipment weight and ease of function. This camera offers low weight and high function. I really enjoy the panoramic sweep feature and the carefree robust camera housing. A lower price tag would have bumped this camera up to a 5 star rating.

Comments about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX10 Digital Camera (Green):
This is a bit thicker than the similar, non waterproof version (100). I used it at about 6" underwater and dried the exterior off afterwards. A few hours later during the hot summer afternoon when I took the camera out to continue taking photos, they turned out fuzzy due to some condensation on the lens, so it may need to be aired out quite well after exposure to much moisture. Images are clear and bright and there are enough features to keep you busy experimenting. I have had the camera about a week and am pleased with it thus far.
