I got this camera for my girlfriend. She seems to like it a lot.
There are a lot of cool functions, even if it isn't listed outright. She recently discovered this setting that makes the face of everyone look smooth, even if they are not. She is still exploring the others, but let me get to more important things.
The camera provides a LOT of color. Way more than my 8mp Galaxy S2 does. Every picture that we take, especially of food or something macro, the color just pops! Now, it may be not accurate, I'm not sure. I'm not too into cameras, but the colors are definitely vivid and definitely something I like.
The low light pictures are great. That was one of the reasons I chose this camera, and it didn't disappoint. The CMOS sensor delivered as promised, can't do that with a camera phone.
I haven't even hooked it up to the computer, so I can't tell you what the noise is like, but I am sure it isn't worse than the camera phone, which is inferior in every respect.

I absolutely love this camera! It is my first camera and it is incredibly easy to use. I have been taking it everywhere and snapping crystal clear shots and videos of just about everything. My friends are loving the pictures I am posting online of them because they are such great quality. It switches between still shots and videos very quicky and that is incredibly helpful.

Bought this camera for my teenage daughter. For the money, this is an amazing camera. She takes photos of herself and friends and often ends up the defacto "photographer" for group activities.
