Kodak's hot little EasyShare M522 Digital Camera (Silver) is a perfect companion that produces high resolution 14MP photos and VGA-quality video. It also has a 4x wide-angle 27-108mm (equivalent) optical zoom lens for wide-angle group shots and zooming up to a 108mm telephoto focal length. With 16 scene modes, 5 color modes, and auto face recognition for great people pictures, you've got plenty of creative options. The easy 3-step Internet sharing function makes it simple to share your photos and videos by uploading to YouTube, Facebook, Flickr, Kodak Gallery and many other websites. It measures only 3.7 x 2.2 x 0.9" (9.3 x 5.5 x 2.28 cm) and weighs a mere 5.6 oz (159 g).

I bought this for my neice who is graduating from high school this year to document her senior year. She wanted to take pics and mini video's. She feels so far it is user friendly. I love that you can charge it by plugging it in.

Bought this for our vacation as a throw-away camera. It ended up being very nice for the price! We tried using the iPhone as the video/still camera last year and were not pleased with the results. The Kodak M522 worked perfect. It has all the features you find on a more expensive compact Digital Camera.

I got the Kodak EasyShare a few weeks ago and I haven't stopped taking pictures since, it's so small and light that I keep it in my purse and pull it out in all those "I wish I had a camera right now" moments.
The pictures are great, the perfect shot function is extremely useful when you just want to point and shoot, it almost always chooses the mode I would have chosen manually.
The only negative point I have to say about it, is that switching between viewing pictures and taking them can take a little too long.
When taking pictures it appears to wait a little too long on the view of the shot, but a quick half click takes you immediately back to shooting mode.
