Kodak's svelte EasyShare M552 Digital Camera (Gray) is a terrific companion that produces high resolution 14MP photos and high definition 1280 x 720p video. It also has a 5x wide-angle 28-140mm (equivalent) optical zoom lens for wide-angle group shots and for zooming in close with a 140mm telephoto. With 20 scene modes, 6 film effects (Kodachrome, Sepia, etc.), and auto face recognition for great people pictures, you've got plenty of creative options. The easy 3-step Internet sharing function makes it simple to share your photos and videos by uploading to YouTube, Facebook, Flickr, Kodak Gallery and many other websites. It measures just 3.8 x 2.2 x 0.8" (9.6 x 5.5 x 2 cm) and weighs only 4.6 oz (130 g).

I use this camera for general picture taking. The pictures are very clear and I like that there are different settings, but not too many and they are easy to use. The one thing I don't like too much is that once a picture is taken it takes a minute to get back to picture taking mode. I haven't figured out if there is a button I can push to make this go faster. Overall, I really like this camera.
