Samsung's SH100 Digital Camera (Black) not only takes great photos and videos, it can upload them directly to Facebook or YouTube--no computer needed! This 14.2MP compact camera has a sharp 5x wide-angle 26-130mm (equivalent in 35mm format) lens that can shoot wide landscapes and group pictures of your friends, or telephoto shots of sports or wildlife. High definition (HD) 1280 x 720p video at 30 (or 15) frames per second is available (with a special zoom noise reduction technology) for making superb movies. The 3" LCD monitor has touch-screen control for exceptional convenience.
The SH100 also has a dizzying array of creative features: Smart Filter effects like Soft Focus, Miniature, Vignette, Old Film, etc. give your photos and videos a whole new look and feel, and the Magic Frame feature will merge two photos into one for a completely different take on things. I bought this because of the remote camera Control using my cellphone. Although one video reviewer said it worked out of the box. I cannot get min to work. The web connect works but the remote controller which also need the web cannot see my network.
I tried to update the firmware but that did not work either. I cannot recommend this to anyone else until this feature is an appliance technology.

The reason I bought this camera is so I didn't require a cable every time I wanted to transfer pictures to my PC. Well, it seems time consuming and difficult to xfer pisc wirelessly. Easier to just connect the cord. Maybe I need lessons on how to use this camera more efficiently.

The real good thing about this camera is the new UI smartphone-styled, easy, simple and fast to access.
The connectivity allow you send the image or video to social network or online albums, also you can send the pictures through email.
If you don´t have a WiFi access oh hotspot close to you, you can use your tethering mode from your cellphone and be connected wherever you are.
My experience was in a hospital room, a new grandmother know and saw her grandson in the right moment that he born.
