The Eee PC 1215P-MU17 Seashell 12.1" Netbook Computer from ASUS is a netbook computer with a relatively large 12.1" display. The display features LED backlight technology, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and 720p native resolution. The sleek, stylish, and compact system features ASUS's stunning Seashell design, and weighs in at a scant 3.2 pounds.
It features standard 802.11n Wi-Fi, allowing you to hop on to wireless networks and hotspots with ease. The system boasts a spacious 250GB hard drive, and you'll also have access to an additional 500GB of ASUS online storage. It is loaded with 1GB of memory.
The computer is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 CPU, which provides solid performance while using very little battery power. The computer's six-cell battery can provide up to eight hours of runtime per charge, allowing you to work without worry when away from a wall socket. An integrated 0.3MP webcam is perfect for online video chat.
Graphics are provided by an integrated Intel GMA GPU. An SD slot and three USB 2.0 ports are present for external device connectivity. A wired Ethernet port is available for those times when Wi-Fi is not. Audio is provided by stereo speakers, and the system also features an integrated microphone. Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit) is the installed operating system.
The Eee PC is an excellent choice for anyone else who requires a compact, yet usable, system. It will allow you to check e-mail, perform basic office tasks, watch videos, and play games. Most importantly, it won't weigh you down.

The Eee PC Seashell 1215P boasts a streamlined and aerodynamic design with strongly defined contours. With its 12.1" WXGA display, the 1366 x 768 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio is ideal for HD video, while the LED backlighting gives it a better contrast ratio but with a lower power than CCFL designs. Combined, these allow for longer, more comfortable viewing and its increased resolution over standard netbooks gives more screen real estate for multitasking.
The chiclet keyboard in the Eee PC Seashell 1215P is comfortable to type on, and combined with its larger form factor and the extended wrist rest, it gives less typing fatigue even after prolonged periods of use.

I use it daily for routine work, and it's excellent for that. Bigger and brighter screen for a netbook adds to its easy usage. A bit slow for graphics, which I guess would be better if another 1 GB ram is upgraded. Best part is that it has international warranty, and therefore immune from break downs outside.
