Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FH25 Digital Camera (Silver) is a complete digital camera image-making machine--it has an 8x Leica wide-angle 28-224mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens, a 16.1MP high-resolution CCD sensor, and a 2.7" LCD monitor with 230K dots of resolution for composing and viewing photos and video.
And the video is beautiful--1280 x 720p HD video @ 24fps. The superb image stabilization combined with sensitivity up to ISO 6400 and Intelligent Resolution mean you'll never have to be disappointed about blurry pictures in low-light situations.
Scene modes (27) and color modes (8) give you confidence that your photos will be the best possible in any given situation, and high-speed burst shooting at up to 4fps, in tandem with the Sonic Speed autofocus mean that you'll never have to miss a shot waiting for the camera to start up or to focus (shutter release time lag is as short as 0.005 second). And Intelligent Auto exposure will always pick the optimal settings, whatever the scene you're photographing. All of this (and much more) in a camera less than 4" long, and barely 1" deep--you'll always have it with you.

Did my Homework for this product with alot of help from the Fabulous Fellows at B& H. No B&H did not write this review themselves. I have been doing alot of business with them in the last year and I keep going back to them for all my electronics needs as they are quite knowledgable in thier field and have time and time again steered me into the correct decision. Thank You Josh. Great camera for my needs.

I gave this to my 9 year old son to learn more about taking photos. So far as expected results for price paid.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH25 Digital Camera (Silver):
I bought the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH25 for those times when I didn't want to carry my DSLR. It is small, unobtrusive and very quiet. So it works great when I want to go unnoticed or when I don't want to lug around a heavy bag of gear. I am very pleased that there is virtually no lag time from when I press the shutter release from when the photograph is made. I've lost shots before due to a long lag time with other inferior point and shoot cameras. It's worth every penny if not more.
