The Casio Exilim EX-ZS5 Digital Camera (Pink) delivers what you need to start creating spectacular photos and videos right away. The 14.1MP high-resolution CCD sensor guarantees great quality, and the 5x wide-angle 26-130mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens will handle anything from wide, wide landscapes and cityscapes to group portraits to family snapshots, party pictures and sports actions photos. A single button can activate the 640 x 480 video--movie-making doesn't get any easier. And the videos you create can be easily uploaded to YouTube using the included software.
There are 23 flexible preset scene modes using Best Shot to cover almost any situation, and Face Detection makes sure the most important faces in your picture are in-focus and properly exposed. With Easy Mode, all of these great features are automatically applied with just a touch of the shutter button for simple, fully automatic photography and moviemaking.

- The combination of the 26 mm wide-angle (35mm equivalent) design and 5x optical zoom makes the EX-ZS5 the perfect companion for every occasion - you have plenty of scope to take photos, be it of your loved ones, beautiful sights or romantic sunsets. - You can now film videos with your digital camera. Using the Movie button in the EXILIM EX-ZS5, you can make colorful videos with a resolution of 848 x 480 pixels at 30fps - simply press the movie button and recording begins.
- YouTube Capture Mode
- It has never been easier to upload your own videos to YouTube: With the EX-ZS5, you can film your most memorable moments directly in a video size and quality optimized for YouTube! The exclusive software makes uploading your videos to YouTube child's play.
- Face Detection Function
- Whether you're on holiday, at a party or spending time with your family - people are particularly popular subjects for a photo. It's always a pity when faces turn out blurred on a picture. The Face Detection function now offers the perfect solution, recognizing the individual faces or even entire groups, and automatically applying the best possible setting.
- Lighting Function
- The EX-ZS5 can recognize and correct difficult light situations: the light function optimizes the brightness of faces automatically even in scenes with backlight simply by pressing the release button. Even the sky or buildings in the background that are subject to overexposure are rendered in full color.
- Best Shot Programs
- You don't need to be an expert to create great photos: To ensure that all your photos and movies are a success from the start, the EX-ZS5 comes with 23 flexible presettings for a wide range of situations. With Best Shot, you can also create and save your own settings, which can be selected at any time.
- Easy Mode
- In the EX-ZS5 Easy Mode, you can take outstanding photos in any situation - without worrying about presettings or applying the wrong settings by mistake.
- Photo Formats
- You're in charge - you can choose between 3:2, 4:3 and 16:9 formats. That is particularly practical if you will be showing your pictures on a screen, television or video projector with this format. The 3:2 format is the classic format for photos. With the aid of the 4:3 format you can admire your photos on the TV or on your PC. The 16:9 format is best suited to plasma and LCD televisions.

- Memory Card Slot
- The EX-ZS5 can save your photos and films on SD, SDHC or SDXC cards as required. You are now free to decide which of these optional cards you would like to use.
- AV Connection
- Invite your friends and relations to enjoy the best movies and photos in large-scale format. You simply connect your EXILIM EX-ZS5 to a TV using the AV output.
- USB Charging
- Using the USB cable supplied with the camera, you can connect your EXILIM camera directly to a USB port on a computer to charge your camera easily. Alternatively, you can connect the camera via USB to the AC adapter, also supplied with your camera, and charge the battery as normal using the nearest plug socket.
