The Opteka 58mm 0.7x HD Pro Series Wide Angle Auxiliary Lens works with any HD camcorder lens or HDSLR lens with a 58mm filter size to increase its angle of view by 30%. Great for expanding what you can show in a tight interior scene without knocking out the back wall, or for widening that already panoramic vista. Increase perspective by making background objects look even more distant from foreground elements.
A high-quality wide-angle converter is a convenient way to expand the versatility of your kit without breaking the bank by buying another, wider lens. For its part, Opteka has gone to great lengths to ensure that its 0.7x converter's optical quality is indeed high: it features three top-of-the line multi-coated glass elements to deliver ultra-sharp HD images that are free of unwanted distortion or chromatic aberration.

I am a firm believe in the notion that you get what you pay for. Such is the case with the Opteka 0.7X wide angle sports lens. The image on this lens if truly pleasant. We shoot wakeboarding video's and I could not ask for a better image. I have NO regrets with this lens. Excellent quality and a fair price.
One bad thing about this lens.....it's heavy, but then again...it's all glass.
