The Proavio UltraStor RS8 FS Fiber SAS Storage System (2U, 16 TB) features 64-bit RAID architecture for enhanced disk performance, making it suitable for storage in applications such as image processing, web streaming, data centers, media and asset management libraries, file, and database servers. It comes with 16 TB data storage and dual 4 GB SFP fiber channel ports, and is designed to operate in performance, mission-critical, and data-intensive network environments.

Features such as drive failure detection, automatic drive rebuild, hot spare assignment and background rebuild, allow you to easily monitor and address system conditions. The UltraStor RS8 FS Fiber SAS Storage System supports multiple array configurations and RAID (0, 1 (0+1), 3, 5, 6, 10, 30, 50,60 and JBOD) levels, for enhanced reliability and flexibility.

The UltraStor RS8 FS Fiber SAS Storage System is compatible with industry standard SFP interface with copper or optical connection, hot-swappable drive trays, redundant power supplies, and cooling fan modules, allowing it to be easily serviced without any system downtime. It can be configured using the secure front control panel or the LCD panel at the back.

Advanced RAID features include RAID-6, Snapshot, Online Volume Expansion, and Migration. The UltraStor RS8 FS Fiber SAS Storage System comes with a web GUI management system that allows administrators to configure and monitor the system through a standard web browser and password-protect it. It features a 2U low profile 19" (48.26 cm) rackmount, and an audible alarm that warns of component failures.
