I use this to print out color media from the internet on normal paper. The results are great. I also use it to print out photos on glossy paper for laserjet printers. You can print just one 8x11 or 8x14, or multiple copies on one 8x11 sheet. This could vary from 2/page to 6 or more per page. The quality is quite good. A ink-jet printer will produce a better looking print, but this printer does not have the problems of dirty/clogged jet heads that destroy a print.
Problems that others have had getting it setup can be avoided by following my instructions and you will be up and printing in 20 minutes: I have a MacBook Pro and a wireless router, Cisco E4200-RM with WPS support. DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED CD. 1.Turn on your printer and connect it to your computer via the USB2.0 cable. Then download the driver software from hp.com 2. Install driver by following instructions for installing HP software. 3 Check box for configure for wireless network, enter router password, click box to turn on hp device and wait for it to configure. Record all IP settings for reference. 4. Disconnect the USB cable. 5. Register 6. Wait for Congratulations and you are finished. Select something to print & MAJIC, the color print comes out of the printer!! Using the wireless connection, I can print from anywhere in the house!
It does make some strange noise every now and then when idle, but it is mostly quiet.

I bought this printer to do run-of-the-mill home printing without the hassle of ink-jet cartridges clogging and dying out all the time. This is a great quality printer that was very easy to set up. After I unpacked it and installed the toner cartriges etc., I just plugged it into my router and fired it up. After that I went to the printer's configuration page, finished the set up (basically just gave it a fixed IP address), installed the printer as a TCP/IP device with a PCL 6 driver on all of my machines (Win XP, XP x64, Win 7 and Vista), and it is working great!

Performs as advertised. Copies are clean and distinct. I would recommend this printer to others shopping for a moderately priced color laser printer for a Mac or PC.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard LaserJet Pro CP1525nw Color Laser e-Printer:
The thing I was most concerned with was whether or not this printer would work with my iPhone/iPad. It does. What I did not plan for was issues printing from my PC. I spent 10 hours trying to make that happen yesterday, and 2 hours on the phone with HP product support (which I regret), and still cannot print from my PC. I am to the point where I will format and re-load windows - the error messages are not at all helpful "fatal error" :) I am sure I will eventually find a work-around, and the reason I give it 4 stars is that it works great with the "i" products, and that's really what I bought it for.

I love this printer. It works great. I can print from anywhere including using air print from my apple products. Now if we had wireless power the printer would be truly cordless.

I've only used it a few times so far and it's going good. I was a little disappointed because I could run regular cardstock through my previous OkiData color laser printer, but this one I will need to buy laser cardstock for.
Advantages have been the size, much smaller than my previous one, so I'm LOVING that, and it starts up much faster, and is much quieter.
I also adore the built in wireless!!!
Although I did have a hard time getting it to print (via usb cable) for a day, my computer would send stuff to be printed on it, but I think I just eventually restarted both of them and the issue worked itself out.

We got this printer because we have a senior in high school that does a lot of printing. A color LaserJet printer was what we needed. The price was right too! We checked and this is the best price out there and it is not a refurbished printer either. We especially like the wireless feature and the ability to print from our phones. Haven't had it long enough to report on toner consumption. I would recommend this printer.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard LaserJet Pro CP1525nw Color Laser e-Printer:
Purchased this to replace HP Color Laserjet 2500n (which had been a super printer for ~7 years but developed a strange color problem). In comparison, the 1525nw is ... ok.
Easy setup out of the box, and color quality is great. However compared to the 2500, the 1525 is slightly slower, has a slot for specialty paper that takes only one sheet at a time, and regularly drops its (hardwired) network connection to my airport extreme base station (haven't taken time to diagnose this last issue yet, I'm sure there will be a fix but in the meantime a bit annoying).
Overall though, I'm fairly pleased with this printer and I expect to get a good 5+ years out of it. Very good price from B&H.

The printer was very easy to install and setup on the wired and wireless computers. We are able to print easily from the computers. I like the quality of the print.
I didn't need the scan, fax and copy features. Also the printer isn't used for printing out photos. So for a small business and for college kids this printer is perfect.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard LaserJet Pro CP1525nw Color Laser e-Printer:
We use this product as the main office printer. It works well and was easy to install. The print speed and color are very nice. The only negative thing I have to say about the printer is it comes with starter ink cartridges and after 600 pages they have to be replaced. It would be nice if the printer came with full cartridges.
