I was on a trip to NYC with a friend and wanted to download my pictures from my Nikon on the way home but hadn't brought my card reader with me. I also needed to replace my lens cap leash. Went into a NYC store and they wanted [$] for the leash...walked immediately to B&H and bought 2 of these at [$] each and decided to splurge for a card reader also...what a good decision. Works perfectly and is so tiny it's a pleasure to carry. I won't make the same mistake and leave this one at home!

Use this with my 128gb SDXC card going into a 2008 macbook pro in the field. Going directly into a FW800 Lacie 1tb rugged drive, it ate an entire laptop battery offloading the 120 or so GB of photos/video from the card, and took a couple of hours.It's consistent though, and for [$] is just fine, and very small for field work.

I have not had this little reader long but so far it has done very well, fits into my small gadget bag and works efficiently. This is much easier than dragging the cable to my camera around for connection purposes.
Works well with my Mac which is not the case with other products I have tried.

This card reader does everything that a card reader is meant to do. I use it for transfering movie files from my SD cards and so it has done a good job doing that. The best thing about it is that it is able to read data from my new SDXC card that I recently got. Since it functions like a USB stick drive, it doesn't require the use of an additional cable, it's pretty cheap and it's compact size makes it easily transportable.

The small size is versatile and the quality is well made. My last media reader utilized a USB cable and the the cable junction broke. This reader does not have cables and just simply plugs into my computer. It reads my SD cards with fast speed.

I am very happy with my product. I opened it and used it the moment it came in the mail. Fast and efficient shipping was a plus! I ordered it during the busy Christmas season, but it still arrived as soon as possible. The best part about the product was that it was less expensive than any I found at the store and I was able to purchase it from my home! The product works wonderfully with no glitches and my friends always want to use it. The only and very minor "problem" I noticed was that the shipment packaging was not as sturdy as I would have made it myself. The product itself did not have any flaws.
