The 2011x 20" Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Computer Display from Hewlett-Packard is a flat-panel monitor with an impressively thin design. The display is backlit with an energy-saving LED light. LED technology is free of the environmental toxins found in traditional CCFL bulbs, and provides more even illumination -- without the need for warm-up time.
The display features a native resolution of 1600 x 900 -- greater than that of 720p HD video. It also sports a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 170°/160° viewing angles, 250cd/m² brightness, 5ms response time, and 68% color gamut support. The display can accept VGA and DVI video signals. Its DVI connector supports HDCP, allowing you to view copy-protected content on the display.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard 2011x 20" Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Computer Display:
I've been using this monitor for a few months now and I have been very happy with the performance. The panel is crisp and bright. Mine had no flaws such as dead or hot pixels.I'm a professional photographer so I bought this as a secondary monitor to hold my panels and windows when workin in photoshop or other simular programs. The monitor works great for this. The overall brightness, color and contrast of the screen is good but it is not built for photo editing. The colors and contrast are simply not good enough to be used for color correcting or editing. Even when color profiled with a Xrite Color Profiler, the screen still does not give acurate color rendering. The color, hue and brightness also shifts slightly as you rock back and forth in your seat rendering acurate color immpossible. Since true photo editing monitors can cost over a thousand, for the price range, though, this monitor does offer a lot of quality and it is great for non-critical photo editing applications.I knew this monitor would not be good for color correcting and photo editing before I bought it. Again since it was purcahsed to function as a secondary monitor to hold extra panels, this works well for me and was not an issue.Overall: This monitor is good for home or office use or for use as a second monitor. This monitor is not good for photo editing.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard 2011x 20" Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Computer Display:
Arrived before time, easy to setup and great to use!
B&H shipped this on time as promised, and it arrived before the promised date.
Setting up the monitor was piece of cake. On one of our laptops that uses Vista, we had to use the CD. On couple other machines that use Windows 7, it was seamless plug and play, no need to use the CD to install the driver etc.
The monitor display itself is pretty nice. We have been using this for 2-3 weeks so far, and are very happy with this product.
We are computer engineers who spend about half of our weekdays and some of our weekend on our computers. This monitor is easy on the eyes and leaves our eyes stress free after a long day of work.
Highly recommended!!

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard 2011x 20" Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Computer Display:
great price and delivery service from B+H. This monitor was inexpensive and is crystal clear but I don't like when I put my PC to sleep the monitor goes black (like it went to sleep) but a few seconds later it comes to life long enough to flash a message telling you that it's going to sleep. It's dumb and my other monitors don't do this. Perhaps a settings can stop this from happening....

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard 2011x 20" Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Computer Display:
The thing I liked most, I took it out of the box connected it to my computer an turned it on. Wala, no set-up, no adjustments. The thing I dislike most, the on/off switch, you really have to feel around (under the bottom of the monitor) to find it. A nice bright screen, good resolution, sharp picture with excellent color. Excellent contrast and instant on (5 ms), I'm using DVI-D. They could use a larger font on the instruction manual, the print is so small I had to use a magnifing glass to read it.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard 2011x 20" Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Computer Display:
Great monitor, excellent all around. Crisp clear images, black levels good, good response time. A little backlight spill but not a deal breaker. Viewing angle is adequate but could be better. Also DVI/HDCP compatible. Used with a s6710f HP PC with Blu-Ray.
Always a positive shopping experience here at B&H.
