The Vello Triple Shoe V Bracket (12.5 cm Wide) mounts on a camera's accessory shoe and provides additional spaced mounting points for lights, monitors, microphones, or other accessories. This design makes it especially ideal for use with camcorders which feature a shoe mount, or HD-SLR setups. The bracket is made from sturdy, lightweight aluminum, and the mounting shoes feature a backstop for secure mounting.

I use this to help with video recording on my Lumix GH2 and I was able to attach my external mic, external recording device & my 96 LED light to my camera without a hitch! This mount is small, lightwight & very well-built.
It has THREE shoe mounts (including the middle one) instead of the two that you'll usually find on cheaper devices. Each shoe mount is both screwed in and welded to the main frame & there is also a back stop on each shoe mount to help secure your devices. It is very small & fits perfectly in my camera bag.
I am still amazed at how much easier it has become to shoot video with this little accessory! I love this thing!!

Very impressed with the build and material. Not your typical plastic "L" bracket, but made with durable metal. Great if you need an extra light or want to attach external audio.

Comments about Vello Triple Shoe V Bracket (12.5 cm Wide):
Didn't realize how much I needed this bracket until I got it. It holds things in a nicebalance on top of the camera. I also like how the attachment is solid to the shoe on my camera, it could be rickety with all the weight I load it with otherwise.

I should have bought this years ago instead of carrying a wireless mic in my pocket with an xlr cable running up to my camera every time I needed to put a video light on my shoe mount.

Comments about Vello Triple Shoe V Bracket (12.5 cm Wide):
I needed to attach an articulating arm with a Tascam DR100 MKII, a shotgun mic, and a wireless lav receiver to my Canon T3i and found this thing. It worked beautifully, and was much more rigid than I was expecting.

Comments about Vello Triple Shoe V Bracket (12.5 cm Wide):
Use this to mount my tascam dr40 and my sennheuiser wireless mic reciever. I put my tascam in the middle and the reciever on the top left mount. Barely fits but it does work. If you configure that way the right side hot shoe really doesn't work unless you have a tall skinny mount to attach another accessory with. Easy on and off and it's built fairly well.

Needed a way to hold both shotgun mic and light and this allowed me to do both. So far, no complaints other than it feels like the camera extends quite a ways up now.

Comments about Vello Triple Shoe V Bracket (12.5 cm Wide):
I am a professional photographer and videographer and have two pro video cameras.
The problem for me was that I have a shotgun microphone and the receiver for my wireless microphone to mount on my cameras, as well as LED lighting, but there is only one hotshoe mounting point.
I tried to make something myself to overcome this problem but then I saw an advertisement for the dual shoe V Bracket. I ordered two and they arrived a couple of days ago.
I did my first video wedding job with them last Saturday and was blown away by how well they worked. I even balanced up my video camera, including the bracket loaded with gear, to work on my handheld stabilizer.
I wish everything in life was as simple, yet effective, as the dual shoe V bracket.

Comments about Vello Triple Shoe V Bracket (12.5 cm Wide):
Purchased this to use with my Panasonic HD-40 camera so that I could add more then a mike on the camera. I selected this model because it was wider, but as it turned out I can only mount one Sunpack 96 LED light along with the mike as the Sunpack is too wide to mount two of them on the bracket. If you are planning on two lights check the width of them to make sure that you have enough room. The bracket seems to be well made. The mike base has too much play when mounted and will require a bit of tape to secure it. This may be the mike base's problem rather then the brackets.

I was initially worried that this was either too small to be effective or just large enough to be cumbersome. Neither. It's light, well-designed and seems very rugged.

I just returned from Taiwan and needed this little bracket under short noticed.
It allowed me to connect my light and microphone in a nice and easy way. It didn't add to much weight and kept things balance. Totally satisfied with my purchase and thought customer service was excellent as well. Thanks
