These headphones are great. They pair easily, are very comfortable and sound fantastic. I have not noticed any delay when watching videos, as sometimes can occur when using a bluetooth headset. I tried the MM 400s, but found the on-ear style to be uncomfortable. The talk-through feature is great and the buttons are easy to use. These are really well thought-out headphones.
Many people complain about the price, and I suppose it is high compared to some other products. However, everything in life involves compromise. Features cost money, and quality costs money. Cheaper headphones are, well, cheaper. I was nervous about spending this much money on a pair of headphones but after using them for five minutes, I had no doubt that I would keep them.
Two final, related points: the sound quality really is outstanding. I've heard things in certain songs I never noticed before. The highs are crisp, the mid-range full and the bass robust. Maybe you can get better sound quality elsewhere, but it's hard to see how, unless you want to spend $1,000 or more for a professional, wired headset.
Related to the sound quality, it seems that some computers (like my imac) use different bluetooth protocols, depending on how you connect the headphones. Thus, when I connected in one manner, the sound was great, but when I connected in a different manner the sound was poor. I don't understand it, but that's my observation. Reviewers who are very critical of the sound quality might be experiencing this problem. Otherwise, I don't get it. These headphones might not be everyone's cup of tea, but there's no denying their high quality.

When you turn on noise canceling all the bass drops out and the volume drops by 10%. Plus the noise canceling is only about 70% of what the $129 ANC7b preforms to. C
Great if you are looking for wireless headphones the occasional airline use. If airline use is your primary goal, stick with the ANC7b Audio Technica, better hard case too on the AT's.

Comments about Sennheiser MM-550 Bluetooth Headset:
I primarily use the MM-550 as my primary headset at work to eliminate background noise, which is does an incredible job doing. I also used them in BT mode while working out at the gym but won't be doing that again due to sweat build up (da'uh). I've also been using them with the iPad (wired) for brilliant sound quality and isolation. They sound incredible, easy to use and pair, and I love the audio controls. The capability to use cable instead of BT is most ideal for me since I prefer to keep away from BT frequencies around my head as much as possible, but sometimes it's just worth the convenience. I haven't had a chance to try them on an airplane yet, but look forward to the noise canceling there. They do fit around my ears, just barely. If you have large ears, these might not be best. I do like their compactness. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for, and these are awesome!

Comments about Sennheiser MM-550 Bluetooth Headset:
Best set of features.
Great sound, even over bluetooth (best sound of all bluetooth tested). Large sound stage, nice clarity. I never reached its volume limit (it's loud enough, and never heard distorsion). The NC helps keep the volume to a lower setting (like with IEMs).
Works well with Noise Cancellation on, but active NC mode is not as effective as the isolation achieved with In-Ears Monitors (IEM). What you give up a bit in noise isolation, you get back with the rest of the features (no cords, easy and confortable, etc.) The NC is very effective with bass and rumbling noises (planes, engines in general), but you will still hear most of the high pitch noises. However, the overall balanced between NC and sound quality is way better than NC competitors (think 4 letters brand, starting with B...). In a noisy street, or on a bus, the perceived sound clarity is improved when activating NC.
SRS mode (surround) is the only feature I rarely use as with most tracks it doesn't enhance the listening (though I must note I have a preference for neutral sound in general). I usually turn it on only with some of the live rock tracks of my music collection.
Also, the long lasting replaceable/swappable battery that you can charge on USB is the icing on the cake (everyday 2h commute -> charge once a week)
Pairing with (i)phone is reliable, and phone control works seamlessly. (tip: voice dialing is activated by pressing the BT button once)
Finally, the only small inconvenience I have noted is that the Noise Cancellation does not keep its setting from the previous use: I'm using these headphones most of the time for commuting, and every time I have to turn the NC on. I wish it would remember the last setting used.
Overall I am really satisfied with this upgrade and would recommend it to friends.

Comments about Sennheiser MM-550 Bluetooth Headset:
I bought these headphones after getting tired of wires. I was pleasantly surprised with the exceptional quality of these headphones.Connecting to all my phones was a breeze. I don't understand some of the complaints about low volume.I enjoyed all kinds of music with these. Here comes the surprising part ,I liked it much better than Bose QC15.Guess what, I returned the overpriced QC15s back to the Bose store and I made them listen to these headphones. If only I could broadcast expression on their faces. You can find a good deal for under $400 with some shopping around. At that price, these headphones are a steal.Take my advice, free yourselves from the shackles and get one of these.I walk all around my house and audio quality does not fade or drop.I don't even reconsider buying Bose in the future.

Comments about Sennheiser MM-550 Bluetooth Headset:
Love the noise cancelation feature, and how well my Android phone co-ordinates actions with the headset controls. Mic is clear and clean for voice calls.
It does multi link to both phone and MacBook Pro, but the Apple blue tooth connectivity is put to shame by the Android system.
Comfortable to wear.
Very good sound quality at low levels, but the bass is sadly lacking.
Does exactly what I expected this headset to do therefore I am a happy customer.

Comments about Sennheiser MM-550 Bluetooth Headset:
These headphones are incredibly well designed. I got tired of Bose headphones breaking where the headband meets the earpiece. So upgraded to Sennheiser's top of the line and while not inexpensive, if you travel as much as I do you appreciate the fetures including Bluetooth or wired connection and the ability to use the headphones as a handsfree interface to your smartphone. I have married these up with Rhapsody music servcie and I couldnt be happier. Oh, the micro USB charging is awesome, can use all my smartphone cables.
