Fantasea's FP7000 Underwater Housing for Nikon Coolpix P7000 makes it possible to use your P7000 camera for scuba diving, sailing, surfing, white water rafting, or any other activity that would involve water, sand, dust or other damaging elements. This housing is designed specifically for the P7000, with access to all camera controls and functions (each clearly labeled), and easy and secure installation of the camera into the housing. The FP7000 has a double O-ring seal, is shock resistant, and depth rated to 200' (60 m). With a removable double fiber optic cable connection for external flashes, removable flash diffuser, and a special hot-shoe mount for lighting accessories, this housing makes your P7000 fully functional underwater and under other extreme conditions.

This is a GREAT housing. I took the FP7000 and my P7000 diving last weekend. My average depth was 85 feet in salt water off Palm Beach. NO ISSUES. I read the instructions beforehand, removed the neck strap from my P7000 and inserted it into the housing for a perfect easy fit. Since I was on video mode, I left the flash lowered. I did not use a light, strobe, tray or handle. I DID use the included and necessary wrist strap. Very stable, straightforward, easy to use, slightly buoyant (a nice feature in my opinion). Dials and controls all easy to use. I like it and you will too.

Very nice and practical housing. I'm very happy with it. Does a great job and is not bulky at all. This combination ( P7000 & FP7000 ) definitively beats the Canon G12. Used it with a slave strobe and got marvelous results.

I've only had this housing and the Nikon P7000 for a week but so far, so good. No leaks, all the buttons work, the AF works pretty good and this housing was only [$]. I previously had a Fantasea housing for the Nikon D70 and it didn't work very well. The buttons didn't line up right and you were pretty much stuck with whatever settings you had when you sealed it. This is not the case with this FP7000. Like all compacts, the Nikon P7000 is slow and that's the real limitation, not the housing.
