There's finally a convenient way to protect your sensitive cameras and lenses from excess humidity and ambient relative humidity fluctuations: these Dri + KIT Dehumidifying Caps for Nikon from Brno. Each cap holds a replaceable silica gel and protects your precious Nikon equipment from moisture that can lead to fungus or mold.
Simply put the cap on a camera body or lens, and it will maintain the optimum relative humidity (RH) of 35% to 45%. The caps are ideal for protecting equipment from fluctuating RH and minimizing condensation build-up in climates with excessive changes in temperature--even moving from air conditioning to a hot humid environment will create unhealthy moisture in a lens or camera. Each silica gel changes color from orange to green when it needs changing. One body cap and one rear lens cap for Nikon equipment are included, as are 8 silica gels.

I have always worried about condensation in the lens and camera with any temperature change. So far so good. Clever approach to getting moisture absorbed so it doesn't interfere with critical parts. No condensation noted so far in the variable climate of Traverse City Michigan. I sleep a little easier. Bought one for each camera body, but need a few more for lenses - should be able to buy separately.

My equipment is used in hot & humid India, in coastal regions and during the 2 month long Monsoon. I try my best to keep the insides of my cameras and lenses as dry as possible to prevent fungal growth.
Fits my Nikon 700D and F6 well.
I have two grouses: Ist, why are the gel packs square? These packs are made for the Lens Cap and the corners of the gel pack seem to hinder proper closing of the Caps. It feels like they maybe getting into the threads. One has to scrunch them up and make sure the corners are pushed in.
Second, these caps come in pairs of 1 lens cap + 1 body cap. How about some lens caps sets only--- who has one camera for each lens? Its usually a couple of cameras with several lenses.
With the price, they ought to be providing well fitting gel packs. The overall finish and look of the product is good.
