This ARRI 750 Plus 3 Light Kit is an ideal core kit featuring 3 advanced design ARRILITE 750 Plus fixtures with scrims, 120V AC lamps, stands and a heavy duty wheeled case.
The ARRILITE 750 Plus is an enhanced version of the tried-and-true ARRILITE open face line. ARRI started with the basic design of the ARRILITE 800 and optimized the reflector to increase output 21% using HPL lamps which employ a compact filament that concentrates and augments light while increasing efficiency. The result is almost double the output. A redesigned one-arm stirrup instead of a yoke facilitates greater movement while the dedicated accessory holder allows use of Chimera softboxes without a speed ring.

Comments about Arri 750 Plus 3 Light Kit (120V AC):
A Pro friend worked a project with me. I saw these lights in action. They can fill a banquet hall, which is what I was lacking. The kit is great. Solid materials, workmanship is good. Kit puts it all together in a great rolling case. Heavy, so know how to get the kit in your truck without help.

Comments about Arri 750 Plus 3 Light Kit (120V AC):
Fantastic lights! Well thought of! Built-in Chimera speed ring is a beauty!
1.Powerful throw: at ISO 320@24fps in flood mode:
- 10' f8
- 20' f4-5.6 split
- 30' f2.8-4 split
- @10'from center (f8) fall off is @ f4-5.6 split
2. at ISO 320@24fps in spot mode:
- 10' f16 - f22 split
- 20' f11
All manual assembly when changing bulb; no need for tools. Easy to figure out.
NEGATIVE: no built-in gel clips on leaf barn doors (unlike the discontinued 1k kit, bummer, but good marketing for version 2.0) so bring clothes pins- cheap and shameful miss for Arri...also barn door coating burns off for several minutes in playful smoke display that could warrant a 911 dial for the faint hearted: - I recommend burning the barn doors off (turn the Arris on and close the leafs to 45˚angle and let it burn off for several minutes) before shooting a client's job; less drama this way.

Comments about Arri 750 Plus 3 Light Kit (120V AC):
I bought this with a chimera softbox to create my own softbank kit. Two shoots and a couple weeks in, I'm digging it. I direct and often shoot a wide range of productions... from broadcast entertainment network promos to run & gun indie films. I'm often a one-man band, so the smaller case makes it more mobile than the 4 or 5-light arri softbank kits, which are a bit larger.
I bought a chimera softbox to throw in, making this an all-purpose swiss army light kit. (Also these new 750s have built in softbox mounts, so no need to buy a speed ring) and I especially like the heat-resistant plastic handles on the back. Bulb changing is very easy now that the head essentially unscrews in half, with a handy latch on the handle. I am more familiar with the 1K open face and was leery that Arri was phasing this out. So far, in a couple of shoots, haven't seen a difference.
