With 1000 Watts of total power the Panasonic SC-BTT270 Full HD 3D Blu-ray Home Theater System has the audio power to fill a large living room but it's small enough to fit in a den or bedroom.
It's versatile too. It can play a wide variety of Blu-ray, DVD and CD formats and it can do all sorts of neat tricks like zooming in the picture when you want to examine a portion of a JPEG picture in greater detail. You'll see that detail sharply thanks to features like the SC-BTT270's 192kHz/24bit video digital to analog converter (DAC) and its HDMI output.
Of course if you don't go online with your Blu-ray player you're missing out on a lot of fun. Just plug your SC-BTT270 into your broadband router or modem or go wireless via the built-in WiFi. On the Net you'll find an ever-expanding choice of free, paid and subscription based services that include YouTube, Netflix, Slacker and Pandora.
In addition to outstanding Blu-ray images and improved pictures from your DVDs, you'll enjoy a number of different surround sound modes including Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic II from all sources. Those sources can include up to 30 preset FM radio stations and your iPod. This unit's universal iPod dock is compatible with dozens of iPod models. Depending on the model you own, it can play music and video and display the titles on a connected TV. (TV sold separately.)
Last but not least, the SC-BTT270 supports 3D in full HD. All you need is a 3D disc and optional shutter glasses to experience imagery so real you'll think you can reach out and touch it.

Comments about Panasonic SC-BTT270 Full HD 3D Blu-ray Home Theater System:
The product is to be used for home entertainment.
The product picture quality was great, a definate improvement over my 6 year old standard DVD player. The set up was easy and all the supplied speakers wires were long enough to place the speakers in their proper positions without extensions. The sound quality was only a slight inprovement over my Sony WEGA tube SDTV for TV use. The DVD sound quality was a big improvement over the TV's speakers. THis also applies to the FM radio feature. It would have been a nice touch if the unit had HD digital radio reception however but it only has "normal" FM radio capabilities. The only problems I have had are that the above TV does not have a HDMI jack and I was forced to use an optical cable for sound and component cables for video. There are no connections for "S" or composite video cables. Also, because of this, everytime you want to send the TV or setbox (cable box) sound signal to the home theater system you must set the source of the sound on the Home menu (either digital optical or componet AUX). You have to do this each time you want to watch the TV after using the theater system menu or you will not get any sound. You must do this after each time you use the theater system to watch a movie or view wireless web content, or turn the unit off this can be a pain until you get used to it and then do it automatically. If the audio jacks are plugged into the TV directly from the set box you cannot use the theater system speakers because there is a weird echo effect between the two sets of speakers. Apparently, these problems are automatically solved with a HDMI connection. Also, the web content is very slow and of somewhat poor quality without a HDMI cable. In fact, I was unable to download movies from the many of the online sources because the connection would not allow it due to very low data transfer speed. Again this problem is solved with a HDMI cable. Bass on the subwoofer was good but not great
