I use the device to play blu-ray discs and also the USB feature to play files from and external device that then allows me to use the 2d-3d feature on many of my movie files.
Innovative design with 2d-3d conversion, fast startup and easy setup.

This product is great in general and there a lot of pros, many more than cons. The quality of the picture is amazing, the sound (through HDMI) is beautiful, but I have not yet checked the optical audio out - waiting for an adaptor to come in the mail.
That's one of the things that aren't as exciting - I would want it to have an analog audio output, so I could plug in a double RCA cable directly, without the need to get an additional adaptor from optical to analog audio. It does have a 3-ring-single-plug RCA out which is also what I found inconvenient - you can't plug a double RCA directly and you can't use it just for audio.
Another issue is the interface - I didn't find it particularly fast-responding, or comfortable. It takes a second to get around menus. Kudos for the Netflix button on the remote, tho! Another inconvenient thing is that it does not remember the last stop mark of the disk and every time it turns itself off (some time after pausing) it starts to play the disk from the very top, with all the commercials up front. Its a bummer but I hear that all BluRays do that and that it somehow has to do with the Java script that it runs - it gets in the way of memorizing the last stop mark. Nevertheless, some players have bookmarking function. This one does not.
Nevertheless, the convenient, compact and modern state-of-the-art design, unbelievable picture quality, built-in wifi, deep color function, full support of 7.1 channel audio (if you have it), tons of extremely useful smart apps, including youtube, netflix, facebook, blockbuster, hulu, pandora, and countless others streaming HD right to you TV, quiet performance, etc., make this Blu-Ray player a win and a true delight!
