Primera Bravo 4101 Disc Publisher (US Plug)
Touted as, "the fastest disc publishers in the world", Primera's line of Bravo 4100 Series disc printers is highly sought after. The Bravo 4101 Disc Publisher (US Plug) has 1 drive for burning CD-R and DVD-R recordable discs. The burner features disc picking and transport robotics that are fast and reliable - delivering 300% faster robotics than previous Primera models. The belt drive system provides for smooth, quiet operation. When discs are done burning and printing, they are automatically outputted through the front of printer, making less work for the person doing the burning. Another thoughtful and convenient feature for the operator is the built-in blue LED lighting. Aside from illuminating the inner workings of the burner, this light also pulses when supplies are running low and blinks when an error condition is reported. This machine was operable right out of the box. I had a spool waiting to be ran before it arrived. I unpacked it, installed the software and it was up and running in 10 minutes. I copied 50 discs immediately and they were flawless. The print job is as professional as it gets. You will love this machine. I use both PC and Mac and it works seamlessly with either platform.

I needed to retire the original Bravo II. I was ready to purchase a machine from a different company but decided to give the 4101 a try. Wow! It is great. No "bad" discs and no "off" colors from the printer. And, did I mention it's fast?

I recently upgraded from a Bravo II Disc Publisher to the Bravo 4101 and although I had problem with it at first (A firmware update seemed to eliminate the problems), overall it is a nice piece of equipment. The quality of the printer is very good and the overall speed is decent as well. I am running Window 7 64bit and everything works fine. The included software is very intuitive and feature packed. I don't know what else to say but this works as described and the price seemed fair as well.

We bought the 4101 for distribution of our textiles CAD/CAM software in a variety of versions and languages. The robotics are very smooth and so far (maybe 60 cds duplicated) not a glitch. This is great news after years of struggling with an older model (different manufacturer) that often got in a muddle after dropping a cd or not picking one up properly. The software offers a huge range of options that took me a while to find what I wanted, but it has everything we need. The label printing speed is just a few seconds per CD plus loading and unloading time, a great improvement on our previous one. I had a problem with the supplied driver not being installable under Windows 7 but within a few hours their tech support sent me a newer driver that worked straight away.
(I don't know how to comment on the durability because we've only had it for a couple of weeks.)
