Samsung HW-D551 Crystal Surround Air Track Active Speaker System
The HW-D551 Crystal Surround Air Track Active Speaker System provides high-quality spacious sound in an unobtrusive and stylish design. The slim receiver has an integrated active speaker system, eliminating the need for the satellite speakers and messy cabling that are normally used in conventional surround sound systems. The compact subwoofer communicates wirelessly with the main unit to provide enhanced bass response without running cables across your room. The metallic silver finish on the main unit provides a splash of style that also matches silver TV bezels.
The system supports Dolby Digital and DTS digital audio to provide immersive 5.1 audio. The receiver has analog and digital audio inputs for compatibility with a variety of media players. It also offers 2 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output, allowing you to transmit high-definition audio and video over a single cable. There are 7 different sound modes that let you optimize the system's performance based on the type of content you want to enjoy. The included wireless remote can control the sound system, as well as your television. A TV hotkey lets you perform various operations with a single press.
Note! TV sound over HDMI is only available when used with an ARC-compliant TV. Regular HDMI input/output is unrestricted.

This soundbar system is great for its sound quality. The TV alone just did not give me the sound I needed so using this system really works for me. I don't have to run wires all over my room to get a very good sound. I would recommend it to others.

Samsung speaker bar in silver is almost the perfect pair for my Samsung 3D LED - must have screens smaller than 55" as I found out, little short. Due to its size, it works for my studio loft. Still, nothing beats a 5.1 plus system but that's the sacrifice you make. Before you buy extra HDMI cables, you need to know that all three inputs on the speaker requires a irregular size, meaning a cable with one side is regular and the other side small (like the USB cables used for cameras).
