The Samsung UN19D4000 19" LED HDTV is an ideal choice for any room of the house. This 720p slim, stylish screen has an integrated NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuner, which receives digital terrestrial, analog cable, and unencrypted digital cable signals alike. HDMI connectivity assures one-cable connection to all your digital games and components. And there are additional benefits to HDMI. Your remote control unit will be able to communicate with other devices with HDMI-CEC functions, such as a DVD player and PC connected via the HDMI terminals. A USB input allows you to screen JPEG slide shows and share MP3 music with your friends.
Other conveniences include 6W of audio power stereo broadcast reception, which supports multi-channel sound (MTS) and second audio program (SAP) with 181-channel capacity.

We bought this for the kitchen.
Good picture and lots of nice features. Our only complaint is the sound - pretty tinny sounding. But that seems to be a problem with all small TVs - no place for decent speakers.
Fortunately, there is an headphone output jack so we could connect it to an external powered speaker. Unfortunately, when you insert a plug into the jack, it turns off all of the great audio setting options, such as the equalizer, so we cannot use the tone controls. Bummer.
It does have optical outputs as well but speakers with optical inputs (sound bars) do not fit our space.

This unit replaced a Sony Bravia of similar size in our den. We used to be a Sony fan until we got this little baby and its performance just blew them away.
Supurb picture, good sound for such a small screen and you can't beat the price. Nothing comes close in our book!

I love Samsung TVs. They look great, the menus are intuitive and easy to navigate. The only thing I don't like about this particular unit (thus the 4 stars) is because the set is missing standard composite and component connectors. It has them, but they are new and feel flimsy. Also, the stand feels a little weak.
I am using this as a client monitor for video production shoots, so having a variety of standard connectors is important. For the average user this shouldn't be an issue.

Using the TV as an inexpensive monitor for studio shoots using 3 Canon 5D Mark ii 's. Excellent color quality but needs some tweaking in order to read true to HDMI out on the 5D. Surprised how light it is. Could easily imagine this in my home too.
