The LN40D550 40" LCD HDTV from Samsung is an ideal choice for any room of the house. This slim, stylish screen has an integrated NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuner, which receives digital terrestrial, analog cable, and unencrypted digital cable signals alike.
Experience a greater level of detail and clarity in the picture than you ever thought possible with Full HD 1080p resolution. There are four HDMI inputs for all your digital games and components. The 40" LCD TV is Energy Star efficient, which is aimed at saving the environment.
Users can connect a thumb drive to one of the two USB ports to access videos, a music playlist or pictures via the remote. The LN40D550 40" LCD HDTV is a great choice when you want big entertainment but don't have room for a super big TV.

I was greatly impressed by the clarity of the picture. There is no viewing angle that causes a distorted image. I have spent several hours viewing other HDTV products, and can truly say that this is the best I have seen in this class. My only negative concern is the difficulty in using the onscreen menu, or e-manual.

This is my first flat screen TV. I held out to the bitter end. I must admit, it's a beautiful picture.
I'm not accustomed to how bright it is, though. The sound is also good. Also, it was easy t set up. My recommendation, "Go for It!"
